Many, many, many moons ago this wise and beautiful woman (Tresa Simmons) said something to me that changed my journey in life. You see I was dealing with alot and very frustrated. I was speaking with Tresa on the phone and basically having a me only pity party because Tresa wasn't having any of it lol. I said I'm never going to have anything and Tresa responded, your sure won't if you don't change your mindset. Tresa told me to start speaking positivity over my life. "I will have and can have anything I want in life" and that hit me so hard. I started doing just that and my life changed. I thank God for Blessing me with this woman in my life. She's my big sister and I've loved her my whole young life lol. She truly knows what speaks on.

You are a light for the community. You show black women how to connect to their true sexually and how to release what is no longer serving them. Your writings are the voice of the woman who can't Speak about her pain, her molestation, her rape.. etc You are the high priestess.. standing as a muse to inspire and provoke a shift

Tresa is a beacon of truth! She helped me deal with things within myself that I'd buried. She continuously encouraged me and corrected me when needed so that I could change old behaviors. I love and highly recommend Tresa. If you're ready to get your mind in order, she's the one for the job.

Before joining Legacies Unleashed: Healing Generational Suffering, I had never considered the process of healing for my ancestors. One of the pivotal lessons that I learned was that by healing myself I am healing the pain in my bloodline and that of my ancestors and future generations. I learned a lot about my inner child and my personal struggles as well. I developed an understanding of unconditional acceptance through my participation. I was able to view my life and history through a different lense and it created the removal of roadblocks and allowed me to further my journey of healing. When I began this class, I felt stuck in certain areas. However, by the time it ended, I learned alternative routes instead of running my head continually into the immovable brick wall. Full moon ritual with Janine Ingram 'Amazing!! Such a Beautiful experience of self love from beginning to end! I was in tune, intrigued and excited all at the same time! The energy of the music, fire and heat was everything I needed to shift into a trance of self love! After the ritual, I immediately noticed a shift in my confidence and with that a new level on my business occurred as well as a money increase just from saying yes to this ritual!!! I will most definitely sign up to experience this pleasurable ritual again especially as I continue to heal!!!!

When I first met Tresa, I resisted connection with her and we all know resistance is futile. LOL. I honestly believed her boldness and raw authenticity "seemed too much" because it was what I secretly desired in my life. I am so grateful that I let my walls down and joined VOICES!!!! She is an amazing Goddess that truly wants women to have access to healing and awareness to who they truly BE. I love VOICES as it allows you access to amazing Doulas for a very minimum cost.
